Day 1: Vilnius
On your first day, you will arrive in Vilnius and have free time to get to know the beautiful capital of Lithuania. Explore the modern and contemporary city, be pleasantly surprised by galleries, a variety of museums, amazing culinary journeys in gourmet restaurants, cozy evenings in the small Old Town, green parks, and unexpected experiences! Overnight in Vilnius.
Day 2: Trakai
Today, Vilnius is a modern and contemporary city, but under an all-new shiny look, the rich history is hidden. Start the day with a guided walking tour of Vilnius’ Old town and visit the main symbols of Vilnius – the Gediminas Castle, the Gothic masterpiece of Saint Ann’s church, the old Vilnius University, the gem of Baroque – the St. Peter and Paul’s Church and the classical St. Stanislav’s Cathedral. In the afternoon we recommend to visit the wonderful town of Trakai which is only 27 km from Vilnius and takes 35 minutes to go by car. Trakai city is well known for its beautiful landscapes, 14th-century island castle on a lake Galve and tasteful kibinai – the national heritage of Karaites. Take the boat and sail around this marvelous city. Return to Vilnius and overnight.
Day 3: Kaunas
On the last day, we recommend visiting a colorful city of Kaunas – the second largest city in Lithuania, which is only 100 km from Vilnius and takes 1,5 hours to go by car. You will have a city tour with a private guide who shows you Kaunas Old Town – small and compact. Nevertheless, it is full of original architectural sites, dating back to various historical periods. After the tour, you will have free time to explore the city and it’s surroundings. On your way back to Vilnius, we recommend visiting Pazaislis Monastery – a unique baroque monument, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful examples of the mature baroque in northern and eastern Europe. Overnight in Vilnius.
