Day 1: Vilnius
The beginning of travel adventures in Lithuania will start with free time to explore a beautiful capital Vilnius. Take a walk along cozy winding streets, and see the colorful life of Vilnius, admire the magnificent architecture and uniqueness of the modern and contemporary city. Overnight in Vilnius.
Day 2: Vilnius – Trakai – Vilnius
Enhance your experience of Vilnius’ enchanting Old Town on a guided walking tour. Stroll the ambient tangle of streets and gain fascinating insight into the city’s history visiting Vilnius Cathedral and its square, the University campus, Pilies street with historical and architectural monuments, Gothic corner of Vilnius with St. Anne’s and Bernardine churches, the former Town Hall square, the Gate of Dawn with a miraculous icon of Virgin Mary. The afternoon we recommend to visit Trakai, the former capital of Grand Duchy of Lithuania, with its beautiful insular castle of the 14th century, situated on an island in the middle of a lake. In the evening, you will return to Vilnius. Overnight in Vilnius.
Day 3: Vilnius – Kaunas
Your trip continues to the second largest city in Lithuania – colorful, modern, and constantly changing city of Kaunas. A small and compact city, nevertheless, full of original architectural sites, dating back to various historical periods, attracts travelers with its unique cultural heritage sites: impressive remains of Kaunas Castle, Vytautas the Great Church which located in a very beautiful place – on the right bank of the Nemunas river, Kaunas Town Hall Square, called the white Swan, and much more! Overnight in Kaunas.
Day 4: Kaunas – Panemune – Klaipeda
The wonderful day will start by trip to romantic Panemune and its enchanting landscape of the largest river in Lithuania – Nemunas. You learn more about this region’s history, the incredible beauty of nature and historical castles of Panemune. Afterward, the journey continues to Klaipeda – Lithuanian seaport and the third largest city in the country. Overnight in Klaipeda.
Day 5: Klaipeda – Nida – Klaipeda
Klaipeda, the oldest and third biggest city in Lithuania, located on the Curonian Lagoon and The Baltic Sea. The harbour town of Klaipeda will inspire you by its cozy, charming cultural and historical corners of the Old Town: Theatre square and the statue of a girl Ann from Tharau, many old streets and buildings, Linden street with the old post-office, Mazvydas Sculpture Park and many more. In the afternoon, we recommend taking a ferry to Nida – a small town of the white sand dunes in Lithuania, located on the peninsula of the Curonian Spit. You will see hazy pine forests clasp Parnidis Dune, which is the largest on the peninsula, Nida village with its brightly painted wooden houses and puffing fish smokeries. Free time to explore Nida city. Ferry back to Klaipeda and overnight.
Day 6: Klaipeda – Plateliai – Anyksciai
Your trip continues to a picturesque city of Anyksciai, surrounded by pine forests, hills, lakes, and Sventoji river. On your way to Anyksciai we recommend stopping in Plateliai town and visiting the Cold War Museum, the former Soviet Union’s underground complex of ballistic missile silo launch. Anyksciai land, with its unique nature and an unusuals activities attracts tourists from both Lithuania and abroad. Take a walk on the Treetop walking path, which rises up gradually and reaches the height of up to 21-22 meters, and admires the beauty of Anyksciai shill as well as the curves of the Sventoji river. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Anyksciai Horse Museum, where you will have a plenty of fun by caressing or feeding horses of amazing beauty, riding them or riding in their drawn carriages! Overnight in Anyksciai.
Day 7: Anyksciai – Vilnius
Before departure to Vilnius we recommend enriching your stay with the great emotions and unforgettable experience of the Alpine coaster – the only such entertainment in Lithuania which seduces you to slide down the hill and feel new, thrilling emotions. Departure to Vilnius.
