We offer you a weekend trip to Riga – city, where historical and cultural heritage harmoniously blends with the modern pace of life. It is no coincidence that Riga is called the pearl of Latvian architecture. Beautiful Old Town is included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List as the exhibit of the biggest collection of Art Nouveau architecture in Europe. There are also many cozy wooden churches built at the beginning of the city’s development, medieval buildings, and ligneous architectural objects that survived for many centuries. During the sightseeing tour of Riga you will see the charming medieval Church of St. Peter’s, the Palace of the Blackheads, which become Riga’s business card, as well as the largest in the Baltic States Riga’s Dome Cathedral, the Monument of Freedom and other popular attractions of the city.
Car fans will enjoy a visit to the Riga Motor Museum, which exhibits the largest and most diverse collection of the old motor vehicles in the Baltics. You will see a collection of luxury automobiles of the Soviet Kremlin leadership, walk around the exposition of racing and record-breaking cars, listen to interesting stories about famous personalities, and important events in the world of cars.
