Important information for those planning flights from Vilnius Airport

If you are planning to travel to/from Vilnius Airport, it is important to note that due to the enhanced aviation security screening procedures, large queues of waiting passengers may form at Vilnius Airport.

Peak passenger times

  • Morning: from 4 am to 6 am;
  • midday: 11 am to 2 pm;
  • evening: 5 pm to 8 pm. 

What can I do to get through airport security without stress?

  • Arrive at the airport 2 hours before your flight.
  • Prepare all necessary flight documents in advance.
  • Check that you do not have any prohibited items in your checked and/or hand luggage. See here for guidelines and a list of prohibited items.
  • Check in online if you can. Checking in independently will save you time and speed up baggage check-in.
  • Book an express check-in service.

If your flight is delayed, cancelled or rescheduled
