On 13th December 2024, the new museum for curious traveller “Science Island” opened its doors in Kaunas. It is the first science and innovation promotion centre in Lithuania. Visitors will be able to see a permanent exhibition of 140 objects, a planetarium, STEAM laboratories, cultural and educational spaces, science shows, lectures, robot fights and more.
This new and innovative science venue in Kaunas is expected to attract a lot of attention from locals and visitors alike.
“Science Island” will be open to visitors from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 AM to 7 PM. It should be noted that the permanent exhibition will be open to a limited number of visitors per hour – no more than 100 people. The recommended duration of the visit is 2-3 hours.
