Lithuania – a part of the Baltic Travel Bubble – has been traveling freely around the Baltic countries for more than a month. We hope you have heard the expression Baltic Travel Bubble – this was the first unique opportunity for the citizens of the Baltic States to travel freely between Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia without mandatory self-isolation. 

The move, known as the Baltic Travel Bubble, has been a true success, and now, Lithuania is opened up for business and leisure trips to residents of other countries as well. Easing the lockdown measures, the Lithuanian government has approved that travelers coming from more than 30 European countries will not be subject to 14 days of self-isolation upon arrival.

The hospitality professionals of the Lithuanian capital chose an original way to spread the word that the country is finally reopening for visitors again. They flew over the city in a hot air balloon carrying the message “Vilnius is calling” and inviting the soon-to-come visitors to enjoy the summer in Vilnius.
